The Piper Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Topeka Trojans to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates now possess a 19-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sumner Academy for a non-league game on Monday, October 17. Piper will meet a Sabres team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS). The Sabres record now stands at 22-10.
The Trojans (4-24) will now prepare for their game against Buhler (Buhler, KS). The Crusaders enter the non-league game with a 8-14 record. In their last game, Buhler was dropped by Mulvane (Mulvane, KS), 2-0, in a non-league game.
