The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the St. James Academy Thunder (Lenexa, KS) and the visiting St. Teresa's Academy Stars (Kansas City, MO), saw St. James Academy's volleyball squad beat St. Teresa's Academy by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, St. James Academy upgrades its record to 27-3 on the year. The Thunder host Olathe South (Olathe, KS) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league match on Saturday, October 15. The Falcons come into the match with a record of 15-9. Olathe South won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Olathe North (Olathe, KS)

With the loss, St. Teresa's Academy drops to 13-13 on the campaign.
