California High School Football - Arroyo prevails Alameda

October 13, 2023: San Lorenzo, CA 94580

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Arroyo Dons (San Lorenzo, CA) and the visiting Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA), observed Arroyo's football squad defeat Alameda by a count of 34-14.

The Dons now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to San Lorenzo for a West Alameda County - Shoreline contest on Saturday, October 21. Arroyo will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 48-20 league loss to Piedmont (Piedmont, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-5.

Coming up next, the Hornets encounter the Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA) in a West Alameda County - Shoreline contest, on Friday, October 20. Alameda will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 32-7 league win over San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo, CA).
