The Lee Trojans football team (Marianna, AR), was beaten 38-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR)
The Thunderbirds (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Des Arc (Des Arc, AR). The Eagles come into the 2A Region 2 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Des Arc achieved victory over Clarendon (Clarendon, AR), 44-8, in a league challenge.
The Trojans now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host East Poinsett County for a 2A Region 2 challenge on Friday, October 20. Lee will meet a Warriors team coming off a 58-24 league win over Earle (Earle, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 6-1.
