Nevada High School Football - Fernley held off by Spring Creek

In Friday's league game, the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) football team tipped the host Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV), by a score of 21-17.

The Spartans (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians come into the 3A Northern game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Elko got by Churchill County (Fallon, NV), 13-8, in a league game.

The Vaqueros now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sparks for a 3A Northern game on Friday, October 20. Fernley will battle a Railroaders team coming off a 56-7 league loss to Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Railroaders record now stands at 1-8.
