    The Howe Bulldogs football team (Howe, TX), was ripped 82-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Gunter Tigers (Gunter, TX)

    The Tigers (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Buffaloes come into the 3A-2 Region II District 8 challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Lone Oak trounced Leonard (Leonard, TX), 44-41, in a league challenge.

    The Bulldogs now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bells for a 3A-2 Region II District 8 challenge on Friday, October 20. Howe will meet a Panthers team coming off a 60-21 league win over Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 5-1.
