The Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA) football defeated the visiting Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA), 21-6 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Wolverines face the Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA) in a AAAAA Region 2 bout, on Friday, October 20. Union Grove will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 41-13 league win over Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA).
The Wildcats (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Dutchtown (Hampton, GA). The Bulldogs enter the AAAAA Region 2 bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Dutchtown was toppled by Jones County (Gray, GA), 35-28, in a league bout.
