Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Cony Rams (Augusta, ME), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the York Wildcats (York, ME) in a Class B - South challenge, on Saturday, October 14. Lincoln Academy will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 4-1 league loss to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME).

The Rams now have a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nokomis for a Class B - North challenge on Tuesday, October 17. Cony will confront a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 league win over Lawrence (Fairfield, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 4-8.
