The Brandon Academy Scorpions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting American Youth Academy Eagles to 2 in the Scorpions non-league victory on Friday.

The Scorpions now possess a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bayshore Christian for a non-league game on Monday, October 16. Brandon Academy will meet a Faith Warriors team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Hernando Christian Academy (Brooksville, FL). The Faith Warriors record now stands at 14-8.

The Eagles (5-9) will now prepare for their game against Cristo Rey Tampa (Tampa, FL). The Panthers enter the game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Cristo Rey Tampa was nudged by American Youth Academy (Tampa, FL), 3-1, in a league game.
