The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK) and the visiting Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK), saw Bettye Davis East Anchorage's volleyball squad nip Kenai Central by a tally of 1-0.

With the win, Bettye Davis East Anchorage upgrades its record to 30-10 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Valdez (Valdez, AK) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Friday, October 13.
