With the win, Valdez upgrades its record to 31-8 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Homer (Homer, AK) to play the Mariners in a non-league bout on Friday, October 13. The Mariners go into the bout with a record of 5-20. Homer lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Nikiski (Nikiski, AK)

The Thunderbirds now own a 30-10 record. They play next when they travel to Palmer for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. Bettye Davis East Anchorage will play a Moose squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK). The Moose record now stands at 16-21.
