Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Greater New Bedford RVT over Bishop Stang

The Greater New Bedford RVT Bears (New Bedford, MA) volleyball overcame the host Bishop Stang Spartans (North Dartmouth, MA), 3-1 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Greater New Bedford RVT upgrades its record to 12-3 on the year. The Bears host Bourne (Bourne, MA) to face the Canalmen in a South Coast outing on Monday, October 16. The Canalmen go into the outing with a record of 11-3. Bourne lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Old Rochester Regional (Mattapoisett, MA)

The Spartans now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Archbishop Williams for a Catholic Central - Large outing on Tuesday, October 17. Bishop Stang will face a Bishops squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Cardinal Spellman (Brockton, MA). The Bishops record now stands at 3-10.
