The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) and the host Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL), saw Crete-Monee's volleyball squad nip Bloom by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Crete-Monee upgrades its record to 14-11 on the year. The Warriors travel to Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 17-10. Plainfield South won 2-1 in their recent league bout against West Aurora (Aurora, IL)

The Blazing Trojan now own a 13-13 record. They play next when they travel to Rich Township for a Southland bout on Tuesday, October 17.
