In Friday's league battle, the visiting Wayland Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Concord-Carlisle Patriots.

The Warriors (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Burlington (Burlington, MA). The Red Devils come into the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Burlington achieved victory over Stoneham (Stoneham, MA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 16. Concord-Carlisle will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Minutemen come into the battle with a 9-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Arlington (Arlington, MA).
