The Cornerstone Christian Cougars volleyball team (Antioch, CA), was dropped 3-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Holy Names Monarchs (Oakland, CA)

The Monarchs (13-11) will now prepare for their challenge against California School for the Deaf (Fremont, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 13-10 record. In their last challenge, California School for the Deaf was dropped by Jewish Community (San Francisco, CA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Summit Tamalpais Timberwolves (Richmond, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 16. Cornerstone Christian will attempt to move on its 3-15 season record. The Timberwolves enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Emery (Emeryville, CA).
