Texas High School Volleyball - Coronado Lubbock-Cooper

In Friday's league battle, the visiting Lubbock-Cooper Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Coronado Mustangs.

The Pirates (27-11) will now prepare for their battle against Amarillo (Amarillo, TX). The Sandies come into the non-league battle with a 32-5 record. In their last battle, Amarillo achieved victory over Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 battle, on Tuesday, October 17. Coronado will attempt to advance on its 15-25 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 12-22 record after their 3-0 league win over Lubbock (Lubbock, TX).
