The Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats volleyball team (Cowden, IL), went down 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Farina South Central Cougars (Farina, IL)

The Cougars (18-11) will now prepare for their challenge against North Clay (Louisville, IL). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 23-6 record. In their last challenge, North Clay went down by Oblong (Oblong, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats encounter the Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles (St. Elmo, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 14. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City will attempt to move on its 7-16 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-20 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL).
