In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Vandalia Christian Vikings volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Gospel Light Christian .
The Vikings (18-4) will now prepare for their battle against Fellowship Baptist Academy (Durham, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Fellowship Baptist Academy nudged Alamance Christian (Graham, NC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the clash with the Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 16. Gospel Light Christian will attempt to advance on its 9-5 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 20-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC).
