The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs (Hazard, KY) and the visiting Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls (Booneville, KY), saw Hazard's volleyball squad beat Owsley County by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Hazard upgrades its record to 19-10 on the year. The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs travel to Harlan (Harlan, KY) to play the Green Dragons in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. The Green Dragons go into the bout with a record of 3-19. Harlan lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY)

The Owls / Lady Owls now own a 10-15 record. They play next when they travel to Powell County for a District 56 bout on Monday, October 16. Owsley County will play a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Jackson City (Jackson, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 9-19.
