Texas High School Volleyball - Walnut Grove over Independence

In Friday's league contest, the Walnut Grove Wildcats (Prosper, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Heritage Coyotes (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 contest, on Tuesday, October 17. Walnut Grove will attempt to better on its 15-19 season record. The Coyotes go into the contest with a 12-22 record after their 3-0 league win over Emerson (McKinney, TX).

With the loss, Independence moves to 15-18 on the year. The Knights host Liberty (Frisco, TX) to battle the Redhawks in a 5A Region II District 10 contest on Tuesday, October 17. The Redhawks go into the contest with a record of 29-7. Liberty won 3-2 in their recent league contest against Centennial (Frisco, TX)
