The Governors (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Branford (Branford, CT). The Hornets enter the Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Branford nipped North Branford (North Branford, CT), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans encounter the Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset challenge, on Monday, October 16. Lyman Hall will attempt to move on its 3-13 season record. The Gaels enter the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT).
