The Nimitz Vikings prevailed the host MacArthur Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's league test.

The Vikings now have a 13-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Highlands for a 6A Region I District 7 test on Tuesday, October 17. Nimitz will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Pearce (Richardson, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 21-11.

The Cardinals (4-14) will now prepare for their test against Richardson (Richardson, TX). The Eagles enter the 6A Region I District 7 test with a 19-10 record. In their last test, Richardson gained a win over Berkner (Richardson, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
