Texas High School Volleyball - Mineola tips Quitman

October 13, 2023: Quitman, TX 75783

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX) and the host Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX), saw Mineola's volleyball squad nip Quitman by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Mineola upgrades its record to 20-16 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Winona (Winona, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 3A Region II District 13 bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-16. Winona lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 6-19 record. They play next when they travel to Harmony for a 3A Region II District 13 bout on Tuesday, October 17. Quitman will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 19-13.
