In Friday's league contest, the Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Northeast Metro RVT Knights (Wakefield, MA), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Sachems battle the Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA) in a Northeast contest, on Thursday, October 26. Saugus will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record.

With the loss, Northeast Metro RVT drops to 7-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Nashoba Valley Tech (Westford, MA) to battle the Vikings in a Commonwealth Lower contest on Wednesday, October 18. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 1-7.
