The West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars (Winchester, IL) volleyball were winner over the host South County Vipers (Franklin, IL), 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] betters its record to 11-16 on the year. The Cougars host Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL) to face the Lancers in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 14. The Lancers go into the outing with a record of 23-7. Lincolnwood lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL)

The Vipers now sport a 10-20 record. They play next when they host PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central for a non-league outing on Friday, October 13. South County will face a Bluejays squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Illini Central (Mason City, IL). The Bluejays record now stands at 21-6.
