Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) and the visiting Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA), observed George C. Marshall's volleyball team top Chantilly by a count of 3-0.

The Statesmen (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons enter the Liberty contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Langley dropped by Herndon (Herndon, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Chargers now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakton for a Concorde battle on Tuesday, October 14. Chantilly will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over South Lakes (Reston, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 14-2.
