The crowd at Monday's league contest between the Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting WISH Academy Owls (Los Angeles, CA), witnessed Dr. Maya Angelou Community's flag football squad knock off WISH Academy by a tally of 24-0.

The Phoenix (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against West Adams (Los Angeles, CA). The Panthers enter the Exposition contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, West Adams was outscored by Jefferson (Los Angeles, CA), 40-0, in a league contest.
