With the triumph, Freedom moves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Patriots host St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to clash with the Indians in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 15. The Indians come into the test with a record of 8-3. St. Stephens won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC)

The Pioneers now sport a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host South Caldwell for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 15. Watauga will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to McDowell (Marion, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 5-7.
