Cross Lanes Christian Warriors (Charleston, WV) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV), 3-0 in a non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 6-6 record.
With the loss, James Monroe moves to 3-13 on the year. The Mavericks host Westside (Clear Fork, WV) to play the Renegades in a Coalfield AA bout on Tuesday, October 14. The Renegades go into the game with a record of 0-15. Westside lost 7-1 in their recent non-league game against Logan (Logan, WV)
