Next, the Wildcats face the Newman Catholic Fighting Cardinals (Wausau, WI) in a Central Wisconsin 8 game, on Thursday, October 16. Northland Lutheran will attempt to advance on its 10-7 season record. The Fighting Cardinals come into the game with a 4-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Gresham Community (Gresham, WI).

The Penguins (4-9) will now prepare for their bout against Adams-Friendship (Adams, WI). The Green Devils go into the non-league bout with a 9-5 record. In their last bout, Adams-Friendship was overwhelmed by Ripon (Ripon, WI), 8-0, in a league bout.
