The Richmond Senior Raiders soccer squad (Rockingham, NC), was edged 1-0 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC)

The Trojans (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Bucks come into the Mid-South 7A/8A test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Hoke County nipped Overhills (Spring Lake, NC), 7-2, in a league test.

The Raiders now sport a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jack Britt for a Mid-South 7A/8A test on Wednesday, October 15. Richmond Senior will confront a Buccaneers squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 9-4.
