With the win, Shoals Christian advances its record to 7-5 on the season. The Flame host Sheffield (Sheffield, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 14. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 2-14. Sheffield lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Tharptown (Russellville, AL)

The Indians now sport a 3-23 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colbert Heights for a non-league test on Thursday, October 16. Colbert County will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 18-14.
