King's Academy Lions (Florence, SC) followers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Dillon Christian Warriors (Dillon, SC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions (9-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Carolina Academy (Lake City, SC). The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Carolina Academy beat Conway Christian (Conway, SC), 3-0, in a league test.

The Warriors now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamsburg Academy for a SCISA AAA Region III test on Thursday, October 16. Dillon Christian will face a Stallions squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Pee Dee Academy (Mullins, SC). The Stallions record now stands at 1-14.
