Fans at Monday's league contest between the Foshay Wolverines (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks (Los Angeles, CA), observed Foshay's volleyball team top Math & Science College Preparatory by a tally of 3-1.

The Wolverines (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Animo South Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA). The Panthers enter the Crosstown contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, Animo South Los Angeles was beaten by Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Sharks encounter the Horace Mann UCLA Community Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) in a Crosstown test, on Wednesday, October 15. Math & Science College Preparatory will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 1-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Middle College (Los Angeles, CA).
