Hazelwood East Spartans (St. Louis, MO) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley Bulldogs (Ferguson, MO), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hazelwood East advances its record to 13-8 on the season. The Spartans host McCluer (Florissant, MO) to face the Comets in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 15. The Comets go into the test with a record of 2-4.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jennings for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 15. STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley will play a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to University City (St. Louis, MO). The Warriors record now stands at 1-7.
