Northside Christian Warriors (Crowley, LA) backers were pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors (17-5) will now prepare for their challenge against North Central (Lebeau, LA). The Hurricanes come into the Division V District 2 challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, North Central lost by Northwest (Opelousas, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets meet the Jennings Bulldogs (Jennings, LA) in a Division III District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Iowa will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 4-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Crowley (Crowley, LA).
