In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the West Central Area Knights.

The Tigers (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Montevideo (Montevideo, MN). The Thunderhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 2-17 record. In their last challenge, Montevideo was beaten by Sauk Centre (Sauk Centre, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights face the Minnewaska Area Lakers (Glenwood, MN) in a West Central test, on Tuesday, October 14. West Central Area will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Lakers go into the test with a 20-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN).
