California High School Volleyball - Poly can't get by Verdugo Hills

October 13, 2025: Tujunga, CA 91042

Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), 3-2 in a league outing.

The Dons now have a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Grant for a East Valley outing on Thursday, October 16. Verdugo Hills will play a Lancers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Monroe (North Hills, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 21-5.

The Parrots (8-17) will now prepare for their game against Arleta (Arleta, CA). The Mustangs go into the East Valley game with a 16-3 record. In their last game, Arleta was edged by Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA), 1-0, in a non-league game.
