In Thursday's league battle, the host Long Rebels volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Ariton Purple Cats.
The Rebels (31-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lanett (Lanett, AL). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Lanett went down by Ranburne (Ranburne, AL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Purple Cats encounter the Ranburne Bulldogs (Ranburne, AL) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 20. Ariton will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 8-9 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Lanett (Lanett, AL).
