The Aurora East Tomcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Elgin Maroons to 0 in the Tomcats league victory on Thursday.
The Tomcats now possess a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Chicago for a Upstate Eight game on Monday, October 18. Aurora East will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Hampshire (Hampshire, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 23-6.
The Maroons (0-20) will now prepare for their game against St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The Green Wave enter the non-league game with a 15-14 record. In their last game, St. Edward defeated Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
