Illinois High School Volleyball - Edwards County can't hold off Hamilton County

In Thursday's league battle, the host Hamilton County Foxes volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Edwards County Lions.
The Foxes (19-9) will now prepare for their battle against Edwards County (Albion, IL). The Lions come into the Black Diamond East battle with a 14-16 record. In their last battle, Edwards County nudged Carmi-White County (Carmi, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lions clash with the Wayne City Indians (Wayne City, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 16. Edwards County will attempt to advance on its 12-15 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 9-14 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL).
