The Henry-Senachwine Mallards held off the host Putnam County Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mallards now have a 18-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seneca for a Tri-County test on Tuesday, October 19.

The Panthers (11-12) will now prepare for their test against Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL). The Royal Lions enter the non-league test with a 5-14 record. In their last test, Rockford Christian was nudged by Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
