In Friday's league match, the visiting Community Braves football squad scored a close 35-28 victory over the Paris Wildcats.
In their next game, the Braves clash with the Anna Coyotes (Anna, TX) in a 4A-1 Region II District 8 match, on Friday, October 21. Community will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Coyotes enter the match with a 7-0 record after their 42-21 league win over Kaufman (Kaufman, TX).
The Wildcats (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Wildcats enter the 4A-1 Region II District 8 match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Sulphur Springs held off Mabank (Mabank, TX), 28-17, in a league match.
