The Shawnee Indians football squad scored 35 points and restricted the visiting Kenton Wildcats to 13 in the Indians league victory on Friday.

The Indians now possess a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elida for a Western Buckeye battle on Friday, October 21. Shawnee will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 48-16 league loss to Van Wert (Van Wert, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans (Ottawa, OH) in a Western Buckeye battle, on Friday, October 21. Kenton will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 1-8 record after their 22-14 league loss to Defiance (Defiance, OH).
