Pennsylvania High School Football - Palmerton felled by North Schuylkill

In Friday's league game, the North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA) football team were victorious over the visiting Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA), by a score of 35-21.

The Spartans (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA). The Falcons come into the Colonial-Schuylkill game with a 0-8 record. In their last game, Salisbury Township was knocked off by Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA), 23-13, in a league game.

The Blue Bombers now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tamaqua for a Colonial-Schuylkill game on Friday, October 21. Palmerton will meet a Blue Raiders team coming off a 21-7 league loss to Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 3-5.
