The Rutland Raiders football team (Rutland, VT), was beaten 56-28 in Friday's league challenge with the host St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT)

The Hilltoppers (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center, VT). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Lyndon Institute achieved victory over North Country Union (Newport, VT), 33-20, in a league challenge.

The Raiders now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hartford for a Division I challenge on Friday, October 21. Rutland will meet a Hurricanes team coming off a 21-20 league win over Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT). The Hurricanes record now stands at 3-4.
