The San Fernando Tigers football team (San Fernando, CA), was beaten 28-12 in Friday's league challenge with the host Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA)

The Spartans (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA). The Cougars come into the Valley Mission challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Kennedy was beaten by Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA), 47-33, in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Panorama for a Valley Mission challenge on Friday, October 21. San Fernando will meet a Pythons team coming off a 36-8 league win over Reseda (Reseda, CA). The Pythons record now stands at 7-1.
