Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME), 4-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Gardiner Tigers (Gardiner, ME) in a Class B - South challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Lincoln Academy will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Oceanside (Rockland, ME).

The Hornets now have a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maranacook for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 18. Leavitt will confront a Black Bears team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Morse (Bath, ME). The Black Bears record now stands at 9-3.
