The Alamo Navajo Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Hondo Valley Eagles to 0 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.
The Cougars now have a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountainair for a 1A District 3 game on Tuesday, October 18. Alamo Navajo will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-10.
The Eagles (5-10) will now prepare for their game against Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM). The enter the 1A District 3 outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Corona/Vaughn notched a victory over Mountainair (Mountainair, NM), 3-0, in a league outing.
