The Blooming Grove Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Kemp Yellowjackets to 2 in the Lions league victory on Friday.

The Lions now have a 14-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mildred for a 3A Region III District 18 game on Tuesday, October 18. Blooming Grove will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Rice (Rice, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 15-15.

The Yellowjackets (9-15) will now prepare for their game against Scurry-Rosser (Scurry, TX). The Wildcats enter the 3A Region III District 18 game with a 20-11 record. In their last game, Scurry-Rosser held off Malakoff (Malakoff, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
